In Holistic Terms, Stress causes Dis-Ease within the Body

Our ability to withstand stress-related, inflammatory diseases may be associated, not just with our race and sex, but with our personality as well, according to a study published in the July issue of the journal Brain, Behaviour and Immunity. Especially in aging women, low levels of the personality trait extraversion may signal that blood levels of a key inflammatory molecule have crossed over a threshold linked to a doubling of risk of death within five years.(article in today's Sciencedaily at link....

In Holistic terms we can relate this to Dis-ease in the body from Stress and working with the 'root cause' of the stress in bringing the body and mind back into balance. Thoughts, whether harmonious or stressful create the emotions in the body and etching lines on the face which in turn brings us to Chinese Face Reading which has been used for many years in helping assess bodily dis-ease

Look up the indicators of Chinese Face Reading and learn about the areas within your body that are taking much of your stress. For instance, in Chinese Face Reading the area immediately beneath your eyes is linked to your kidneys.  If I see this area as puffy or swollen, I will immediately notice that a person is not drinking enough water!!!!!

BALANCING THE CHAKRA ENERGY CENTRES

When a person goes through the experience of having to let go of something or someone you love, the difficulty is bringing one’s self back into balance and perspective of carrying on with a normal life. Unfortunately during the time of such disappointment, anxiety and stress creeps in and the mind can often keep up an amazing chatterbox dialogue trying to find reasons of all kinds and as a consequence a healthy lifestyle can become almost non existent.

As we are told and is so true, like attracts like and you might just find yourself coming across new friends who have just gone through a similar hurtful journey and need to talk about it. This is great because here starts the process of unpacking all the hurtful experiences and the letting go. Now you are really healing and becoming stronger and channelling that energy of hurt to good use by helping yourself and others to heal. By doing this one can start to grasp the lesson for yourself and when you can honestly silently say “I am thankful for the lesson and the Blessing in this relationship”, then you truly are on the road to recovery with a renewed sense of positive intentions for yourself and your highest good.

At the same time our Chakra Energy Centres of our body need to be brought back into balance again and if you are not able to get to a Reflexologist in the mean time you can help yourself. Sit comfortably on the floor or in the bath with feet out in front of you and using thumbs of both hands gently massage from the inner side of your heels of both feet along the inner edge of your feet right up to the top of your big toe (The Yellow area of diagram below). Wherever you might feel a bit painful along that journey, just stay there and continue to massage that area until the pain eases and so continue a couple of times up and down the inner sides of your feet. Listening to music from nature is also very helpful and helps the mind to relax and unwind. When you do have that appointment with your Reflexologist he/she will explain the Journey of Your Chakras in detail and open up a whole new chapter of healing from within.

Always keep your mind focused on your positive intentions and if necessary start writing down the miracles you would like to have in your life including a healthy lifestyle. Going to the bookshop and reading up on Chakras and various ways of healing from within greatly improves your focus which should be only on ‘the now’ and your way forward.
